exposure from Dhulikel...

A potential drawback of using film: slow exposures - but sometimes there is an unintended result. Shot from inside the sanctum of small Siva temple in the small Newari town of Dhulikhel...
Provia 100 slide scanned with a Canon FS4000US slide scanner and adjusted in CS2. |

Hello Caleb,
Untintended ? Looks as if you were after a slow motion picture, and this unexpected result makes it so interesting. You were right to post it and no matter why TE viewers did not like it too much, I am under the impression that you achiede an excellent result. The problem is that you cannot use it unless you organize an exhibition or series of same style photos.
Keep well - Izzet
Yeah, I'll buy it - the savbing moment here is teh clarity around her face, while all else is gong to hel, her gaze as it were...is steady. Result - a beautiful riot of colors, deserving of much more indulgence and, indeed, affection than the community has seen fit so far ;o)
I personally like it Big Time, c, for what that's worth...
best,
Francis
