This composition is mostly built of straight lines - the effect is good, IMO. The bridge nicely divides the frame in halves, leaving people 'hanging' in the air... I like it.
Best regards
Joanna
PS. Would work well in bw, too.

Hi Ryno,
Thanks for your comment!
This picture is full of memories for me. I stayed at the Kandawgyi Hotel 2 years ago, in december.
I'll never forget Myanmar...
Phil.

Hello Ryno
Excellent reflections with the railings shimmering below. Red umbrella completes the scene. Thanks, Marlene

Hello Ryno,
Very simple compo; romantic couple walking under a single umbrella, almost a cliche, but one of the irresistable ones I think.
Red umbrella is an attractive item in the faint atmosphere of photo. Reflections on the backwater looks like cinemascope framing for the bridge. No need to say horizontal cadrage is excellent for such a composition.

Burcu

Bonjour Ryno,
Le pont avec les reflets de la barrière crée un bel effet graphique. La présence du couple au parapluie est un élément dynamique.

Hey,
I like this one....sort of a modern version of all the U Bein bridge shots one usually sees in the Myanmar Section.
For no particular reason I decided to try a workshop...slightly muting the colours a little.

Hi Ryno, great sample of the simplicity and at the same time it has a power in itself. i like the surface of the lake and the reflections.. very nice pov that you had chosen.. and the couple tells so many things about love there.. many thanks to the pink umbrella:) it's the first key object of the photo.. and the second one is the girl's hand on the boy.. Very well framed,

Hi Ryno,
very fine composition. There are some elements which makes this a real pleasant seen: the bridge, the couple (perfectly placed in the frame) and the reflection on the calm water. I also like this crop and the lighting. Very well done!

Carlos

there is a classical japanese painting that are similar with this view. I liked it, lines and people are fabulous put here. I would prefer this same image in aversion in B&W. I guess it would be more ellegant. anyway it is a nice work
