10 am and still foggy Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the view from the terace of my bungalow at GIC = "Golden Island Cottage" Nam Pan.
It`s about ten am and still foggy.

The next weeks I will reduce my activities at Te.
It`s sommer = outdoortime and it`s getting too warm in front of my monitor.
From time to time I will have a look at your work and write a few critiques.
And when it is raining I will upload again.
I wish all members a fantastic summer and the members from the southern hemisphere a nice and not too cold winter

Next week I go back to my roots.
I`ll visit Wroclaw,former known as Breslau.It`s the hometown of my parents who have been refugies in january 1945.
I go there with my mother . My sister from Stuttgart and my brother from Berlin will join us.It`s a present for her 80th.

Hallo Andreas,
i like this one. It has a three layer composition in vertical format, something we don't see that often. Here the balance is very good, also thanks to the reflecting part in the foreground but more important the fog and the man in the boat which makes also the top part very interesting to look at.
Great timing here, no time to think, seeing is pushing...good work.

interesting minimalistic composition, i understand you wanted to include all of the reflection but maybe i would have prefered framed a little bit higher,

Another great shot, love the serie that you have from Inle of the foggy morning shots. They all so mystical and peaceful with sense of tranquility. You take the weather that most will be devastate by the fog, but you turn it into something that works for you, the result is fantastic. Great work.

Its a nice photo, Leo. I like the perspective from behind this kind of fence in the foreground, since it creates a nice graphism and depht of field. The greens also adds some colour to the foggy atmosphére. Well taken!

To see such a scenic view, the weather must be hot and humid with so much moisture to blur out the air. Very nice composition of this countryside scene. I like the lone boat and boatman moving across the water, the fence and reflection in FG.

The fence is a nice detail in this image as it create a good balance between fore and background. Nice light and addition of the boat to break the monotony of the water. I like the soft atmosphere and details ont his composition.

The fence makes such a pleasant grid, enhanced by the fine reflection!
The simplicity of the composition is appealing, and the guy in the boat is a natural eye-catcher...

Hi Leo,
Love the colouring almost monochromatic except for that bright green strip of grass dividing the shot. Great reflections and of course the boat gliding through the stillness of the fog is a must have addition.
