[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Shwedagon Pagoda in Tachilek, Myanmar. This border town is just across the river from Mae Sai, Thailand.

At the time of my visit it was very easy to cross between Thailand and Myanmar; only the narrow Mai Sai river separates the two countries.

Hi Kevin!
Great shot of this golden stupa.Fantastic light and amazing contrast with the wonderful blue Burmese sky.I´ve been two times in Myanmar ,but not in Tachilek. Some years I stood at the bridge and border im Mae Sai,but the border was closed.
Regards,Leo
