| More of the faithful (and not so faithful) disembark at the unremarkable Ye Le Paya - on an island in a tributary of the Yangon River. The short journey by boat departs from Kyauktan, just 20 kms south of Thanlyin. It is possible, on landing, to purchase a bag of food for the catfish - the latter being the most notable feature of a visit. But let's face it - a visit is an affordable outing. |
