Photographer’s Note

photo taken in the market of Kalaw.

A former colonial British hill station, this small-town offers cool temperatures (Kalaw sits at 1,300 meters elevation) and plenty of trekking opportunities. Traveling by car, it's about two hours west of Nyaungshwe on the western edge of the Shan hills.

You really go around with your eyes wide open to notice this wonderful mirror image. It makes a very original and creative work. The only thing I'm not sure of is the bokeh, as it is on the same plane as the reflection. Did you blur it in PP? Good work

C'est original et amusant comme idée, et une image très colorée - j'aime aussi les tresses qui se retrouvent dans 3 miroirs - ces beaux cheveux et brillants !

Well seen and I really like the way you 'doubled' it
cleverly using both mirrors.
I don't mind the absence of perfect focusing (lack of
desirable sharpness), but higher contrast would certainly
improved this well taken and composed shot, IMO.

Salut Didier, très bon ça, tu as su saisir l'instant et utiliser ces miroirs à bon escient. Peut etre qu'en attendant que cette femme nattée passe ça aurait été encore meilleur, seul le petit se serait retrouvé réfléchi.
Excellent DOF, il fallait au moins ça.

C'est brillant ce jeu de miroirs. On sent bien l'étalage de marché public, mais c'est bien sûr l'enfant qui intercepte le regard.

D'avoir intercepté ce détail était déjà fort bien, ce que tu en as fait est excellent.

pas facile de sortir des sentiers battus et de realiser l'image qui étonne. c'est reussi je pense sur celle-ci. j'imagine totalement ta recherche de l'angle ideal et de la lumiere qui va bien.
