[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The local people have been adding Budhas images to a cave near Kalaw for hundreds of years. There are thousands of statues, black, white, covered in gold leaf, stupas and more Budha's. So many Budha's they have a few streets and even a small maze :) Image taken using a monopod.

I never heard about this place. It must be very impressive to see many Budhas inside a cave and even a stupa. I like your photo a lot for its colours and also for the sharpness you got with 1/2sec. Well done.
Antonio

Echoing Antonio's comment, I have also not heard of this cave. Though it looks fascinating. I like your perspective leading the up to the peak of Buddhas, as well as showing the interior of the cave. I at first thought it was a noisy photograph of a night sky, thanks for the note explaining.

Regards,
David

Hi Andy,

The photograph itself is not highly challenging, but taking pictures in a cave isn't the easiest thing - especially not with exposures of 1/2 sec ;-). But the story is remarkable and together with that, the photograph gets a whole different dimension!
Thanks for sharing!

Greetings,
Dennis

At first I thought it was the cave at Pak Ou in Laos, a difficult shot which you seem to have pulled off with your monopod.
