Pot of Tea Anyone? Photo

Photographer’s Note

What better way to relax after wandering the streets of Rangoon admiring the decay of the old colonial buildings than to head to the strand to their large restaurant with comfortable wicker chairs and high rise ceilings and fans. OK, it's an expensive 'cuppa' compared to outside (maybe 20x more), but at 5 bucks a pot (especially Earl Gray) one is worthy of a treat once every so often.

Good idea but I think there is...too many thinks wich separate the subject and your camera...first cup of the, sugar and particulary...the ashtray !!!
It could be a very good stuff...

Nice composition, fills up the frame really well.
BW adds a little something to this tea party, I just haven't figured out what it is exactly...

Well, considering I'm having my cup of tea right now... I figured i'd make a comment on this one.

You definately make the most of the wide angle with the 12-24mm Will. Great forground subject with the wide angle affording us a view of the lady on the other side of the table (no mention of whether it's a friend or family- I'll turn a blind eye, hahaha).

Sharp detail and a nice B&W conversion Will.

Hi WIll, i have the same lens and i love it...
i love the distortion of the world through this lens...
here the composition is very very good with a beautifu light on the pot and the action in background...
very good the choice of BW
