Photographer's Note
20 years ago I visited the mysterious country of Burma.
At that time a visa of 7 days was the maximum traveling time.
At the end of this week I saw an amazing picture of a shrine or pagoda situated on a round rock and cover from bottom to top with gold lives, and even more amazing was to see that the rock is balanced on the age of a slop of a mountain just hanging above the deep, with nothing to stop him from rolling down.
I took a picture of this poster and decided to go back to Burma to see it in my one eyes.
It took me 15 years to go back and to find that all the names (including the country’s name) were replaced, but the amazing Kyaiktiyo Pagoda, a small shrine perched atop a precariously balanced rock is still there – see the picture for your self!

A stunning picture, very unusual. Well composed, with good colours, shadows are a bit dark but overall a good density. Sharp too, details are very well rendered. 15 years of doubt to finally catch it! stubborn or obstinate, but the result is this excellent catch. Thanks for sharing Yuval !
