Photographer's Note
I can not resist,I post another image from this magic place.
I recieved this panoramivc version by accident.I wanted to correct the perspective at the horizon(it was more a curve)and recieved this wider version.
Here you can recognize some pagodas of my other posted images from Mrauk U.
Mrauk-U was the capital city of 48 kings for 355 years and was founded by King Mong Saw Mon in 1430. The city offers the visitor many chances to study the cultural and traditional heritage handed down to the present day Rakhine generation by their forefathers. Mrauk U can rightfully be claimed as the “Open-air Museum” of the arts and culture of the people of Rakhine.
The Golden days of this city were between the 16th and 17th centuries and contemporary to the days of the Tudor Kings, the Moghuls, the Ayuthaya Kings and the Ava (Inwa), Taungoo and Hanthawaddy Kings of Myanmar.
The city was well-fortified with 19 mile long fortification walls, moats and natural barriers: the then war-torn Rakhines began to regard it as the “Promised Land”.
Once, more than six million shrines and pagodas flourished and there is rarely a hilltop that does not adorn itself with one pagoda or another.
After the annexation of Arakan (Rakhine) by the British, the capital was shifted to Sittwe (Akyab): since that time Mrauk-U was known by the people as Mrohaung (Old City). The name Mrohaung was given by the British when they shifted their seat of administration to Sittwe in 1826. The original name was restored in 1979.
The city is just 40 miles away by river from Sittwe and the trip takes 3 to 4 hours. There are daily flights to Sittwe from Yangon which take 2 hours via Thandwe. The boat departs from a jetty in the Sattroegya, a tributary creek of the Kaladan river and on the way there are many places of interest to be seen along the river.
The photo is taken from the same POV as for this one.I took this image with 300mm and you can find this pagoda here again.

Bonjour Leo,
un spectacle qui se renouvelle tous les jours, une vue comme il n'en n'existe nulle part ailleurs dans le monde.
Tu t'es installé au meilleur endroit pour nous en faire profiter.
Toujours des petits airs de paysage irréel.
Best regards.

Beautiful scene! The fog or mist in the valley, with the peaks of the temples jutting out, is a wonderful image. I like the low angle of the sun too, which gives lots of texture to the forest and shows everything in a soft light. Great work!

Hi, Leo. a good downward view on the pagodas rising from the mist. Along with the foreground and the mountain range in the background, the mist gives a very good depth to the picture. Nice play of shadow and lights.

Olá Leo, I remember well this magic place photographed by you and it's nice to see it again in this general panoramic view. The light is gorgeous and I like the green framing in foreground, but it's the sight of those pagodas lost in that mist that makes this such a fascinating image. It's not so impressive as the other zoomed one, but's it's a marvellous view, as well.

Hallo Andreas,
This is indeed a famous place and location to take pictures from. And although i prefer a closer view with only the temples and the fog, this one here with the light in front is also very good. It has that early morning glow and warmth in it which is very pleasant to look at....wonderful.

Hallo Andreas.
