Photographer’s Note
As I was riding in the 'first class' (shotgun) seat of this pickup truck from Pyin U Lwin back to Mandalay, this monk was with the other passengers in the back. I would turn to look at him once in a while, when he would then turn shyly and hide away from me.
Kids in Myanmar are just absolutely adorable!
They seemed so much more innocent than the average kid. They have such curiosity that makes me believe there would be great abilities in them. One can only hope that the political situation would one day change dramatically to allow these kids to fully realize their potentials.

Wonderful job of desaturating the surroundings. The boy really comes to life. His red garment is a great color as well. He does seem so innocent.
