Photographer’s Note
Another moody Bagan shot. Again I'm trying for a sense of the timeless, in this case by defining objects only as layered silhouettes. I do wonder though if there's too little specific subject matter to really pull that off. Thoughts?

hi justin
this shot has just captivated me
ill be going to bagan soon
was wondering if you could tell me what aperture you used at what shutter speed and at what time was it taken.the position of the sun can make a lot of difference and this photograph of yours seems to be just perfect.youve got some beautiful silhouettes here.
did you use any filter to capture the sun?
nice work again
take care

OK...this, IMHO, is just amazing. The sun may be a little overexposed, but here it works very well, because it breaks the dark colors of the rest of the image and provides nice balance throughout. I also like the different layers and the depth here is incredible. Compo wise you did well to position the towers through the frame. Good one. I like it.
