Photographer’s Note

Inle Lake in Myanmar (Burma) is an extremely interesting and beautiful place. 22 km long and 11 km wide, Inle Lake is home to 70,000 Bamar, Danaw, Danu, Intha, Kayah, Pa-O, Shan, and Taung-yo peoples, among others - roughly half of the areas population. (some more information can be found at http://www.visit-mekong.com/myanmar/jewels/Inle_lake.htm)

Early in the morning, when fog is coming up and turning into clouds, sun rays light up fishermen on their long wooden canoes. It's rather quite and at the same time wild picture. Hope you enjoy it.
