Photographer’s Note
Hello again,
today I'd like to show you the famous Shwedagon-Pagoda in a different way of view.
When you have good focus than you can see the background turned 180 degree in the waterdrops, that's a real reflection.
Can you imagine that this mighty 98-metre gilded stupa located in Yangon can be inside a little waterdrop? Here you have - just before this beauty fell down.
The Swedagon is the most sacred Buddhist pagoda for the Burmese with relics of the past four Buddhas enshrined.
I hope you like it - I'm such an enthusiastic Macro-Photographer and so I also wanted to show you one of my Close-up-shots.
Any words are welcome, thanks and enjoy the sunday.

Hi Sabine,
really good idea, very original, perfect timing.
In my opinion, it could be sharper but I know it's hard to do a perfect focus point with macro shot.

Excellent shot, and I still can't believe that a droplet can be that huge and remain sticking to the leaf. Nice capture of the pagoda in the droplet and great use of DOF.
Excellent composition,

Hello Wishnu,
This is great! It is always nice to see things from a different POV, but your photo does it in a unique and artistic way. The view of the pagoda, with the details of the sky is magical, and the soft blurred colors in the background are also lovely. Wonderful photo!

Wow--this is a brilliant idea, and is very thoughtfully and well composed. It is hurt by the slightly soft focus, but the originality and execution of this picture are exceptional.
Thanks!

Klasse gemacht und wahnsinnig gut umgesetzt. Wie eine von diesen Schneekugeln sieht das im Tropfen aus.

Hi,
I want to like this - I really do - but the sceptic in me is saying this is a trick...I can't imagine that this is a naturally occuring thing here. I also think it is a little on the gimmicky side...
however, no matter how it was done it was done well and clearly lots of people like it so...
Cheers

Not sure which one of you took this photo. I think this would have to be one of the cleverest and creative shots I have seen. In addition it has a mystical or contemplative quality. Reminds me of William Balke's comment about seeing Infinity in a grain of sand.I am not often left amazed at my age, but your water drop is an exception. In total admiration- Klaudio.
