Photographer’s Note

The first picture with borders, I think it looks better. Another photo from my last year visit in Myanmar. It was taken from U Bein bridge in the neighbourhood of the old capital of Burma - Amarapura ("City of Immortals").

Well, you aren't kidding with your title when you write middle and calm!

Original shot, lovely ripples and spot on exposure, perhaps a little bit on the bluish side for the darker parts (see the shadow on his shoulder).

Nice to look at : a relaxing experience :) ...

Great composition which conveys the calmness of the scene. Love the way you have centralised the subject to further emphasise the solitude. Only minor points would be that the shadow to the left of the person is slightly distracting and there is a white speck directly above the person's head. Only minor points and they do not spoil the overall effect. Well done.

This picture really captures the serenity and calm well. The shades of blue water and ripples really makes it a beautiful shot.

Though..., I am curious what the person is doing in the water.

a good title choice for this beautiful picture. It is simple and well composed...the shadow of the person is linked with the frame !

This is a wonderful shot, as close to perfection as I can possibly imagine... I love for example the way the weater goes from very dark at the bottom to gradually very light blue.

Dzien Dobry Grzegorz,
That's a splendid photo (in a nice frame !), I like here the centered composition to preserve the radiating water circles, the minimalist filling of the frame with just that person and reflection, and the clarifying of the water color as the eye moves up. It's a very good scan as well.
