Ciao Paolo, anche questa foto è una conferma del tuo talento di rappresentare e trasmettere uno stile di vita così lontano e differente dal nostro in maniera
elegante e personale, ...ottima scelta di tempo.
Complimenti, molto bravo.

:) Yes, I though that was taken in Vietnam too, the scene looks exactly similar. Well capture the boy "landing". Lighting is perfect, a bit blur due to film scanned but it doesn't matter to your fascinating daily-life shot. Welldone.

Paolo,
interesting to see your old photos. Jerzy is right, they have something unreal, unusual about them. That really makes them stand out. As with yesterday's photo, the sister pic is very helpful.

Hola Paolo.
It is a pity the poor scanned. But even now we see a very interesting photo with a very good daily life, with great colours. Only dislikes to me see the subjected so centered.
Anyway, good.

A charming picture which shows the close relationship between the farming people and their bufallos. You have caught the action very well.

Ciao Paolo, I browsed your gallery, as I was away for a while, but boy, you have such nice warm colors in your pictures! I liked the line up of your monks very much as well, but I thought this one is so funny, 'cause it IS possible that the buffalo thinks that way, but in general they take such good care of their animals.
It's a lovely picture, the fun the byos are having, is well rendered.
Nice sister......

You got some very good sunsets in ur gallery but I prefer this playful boys with the buffel, with a good deep green fields contrasting the brown land as background, a pleasant scene to look at.
Good scan, like the sister too.

I am with Jerzy regarding the dream-like aspect of your old Burma pics, Paolo. They remind me of dream sequences in these beautiful movies by Werner Herzog (Aguirre, Fitzgeraldo), maybe the light, certainly the rich, dark colors, oh, and the grain too.
They exude a powerful charm...

Oh my this is a fantastic photo without the ox and the boys. But seeing its included it really adds to this photo. The boys playful mood, the powerful oxe being held by such a small lad shows alot of strength under control. Amazing scene!
