Photographer’s Note
Vendors at Sagaing train station were trying to sell various foodstuff to the passengers of the Myitkyina bound train. Being busy selling this was a good opportunity to try to get some protraits. Spot metering used here.
I did not crop the image on purpose as I prefer to post images as I took them.
When I took this pic I used my 80-200 set at 80, zooming in was no option as shutter speed was getting low (approx. 1/100).

Nice shot Marcus.
there's a great focus on the girl, and also the light is really nice.
it's a pity that is not possible to see also all the watermelo slices!
thanks, ciao.

Interesting work. I like her expression and the way the seems to be looking up tells me that maybe she's afraid to drop the bowl. The watermelon is a nice addition of shape and color. What I find a bit disturbing and akward is the way you cropped her hands...I would have either liked to see them in the frame or cropped off altogether. I don't really care that you cannot fully see the watermelons, but the hands are a problem.

This is a good one, well composed, few colors, but well together( blue of the dress with background, red of the pastèque( in french) with red of the plate. The expression on the face of the woman give more life.Very well done.

good work Marcus. but a shot with slightly less zoom with whole of the watermelon stuff in the picture would have made a better shot.
