Continuing strolling around the streets - the sun is going down - playing nicely on the Burmese script above the small shop, it catches my eye. I ask the shopkeeper if I can take a photograph, he nods and takes his seat. Click, thank you I say, thank you he says and hands me a drink, from the first row, warm after sitting in the sun for the afternoon. Thank you again I say.
Just look at the goods in his shop - water, a few drinks, toothbrushes, and toothpaste and few bars of soap and a box of cigarettes. How much profit can he make? and he gives me a free drink! - So touching

Just proves that the ones who don't have much share proportionally more than those who do have more than enough. I remember years ago when famine hit Ethiopia, some smart drongo posted a bullet to the aid organization here in Australia.Lovely touches of light in this story of grace. Regards. Klaudio.

The folks here are fantastic and you're doing a great job of capturing them. The Red Ruby cigarettes, a local brand, are often solid as individual pieces to passerby.
Lovely light and great capture of the smile.

I can't say anything particular about individuals, but certainly my general impression is that I have met the greatest generosity and kindness in the very poorest countries. It would really make me feel less embarrassed to receive tiny gifts like your warm drink from wealthy people. This is a very pleasant view of a kind that could be seen in many parts of Asia and elsewhere, but no less interesting from being common.

It's relatively bright in low warm light, with nice colors as the shop owner attracts the viewer's eye. The colors, props, placement, pose and his smile are all contributing factors uplifting this shot and your keen observation never fail to inspire us. What a cute shot and the essence of local life filled by the olde atmosphere and those speck of vivid colours add such a nice touch . An excellent street shot and tx for sharing, Congrats
