I made a mistake about size, so I posted a WS in 800 pixels

Qui n’a pas couru après des pigeons ?
Photo prise dans la pagode de Shwezigon à Bagan où il y a des centaines de pigeons.
Moi-même, pour les besoins d’une photo, j’ai foncé vers eux pour les faire envoler et… je me suis pris les pieds mon pantalon large… une bien belle chute.

Who did not run after pigeons? Photo taken in the pagoda of Shwezigon in Bagan where there are hundreds of pigeons. Myself, for the needs of a photo, I rushed towards them to make them fly away... and I took my feet in my wide pants.... a very beautiful fall.

Quelle joie pour les enfants de courir après les pigeons, je crois qu'on l'a tous fait. La photo est très intéressante et bien composée avec la petite fille au 1/3. Beau contraste de couleurs. Une petite remarque, la photo aurait pu être publiée à 800 pixels au lieu de 600.

Hello Bernard,
Every little child wants to chase the pigeons. When they dress in bright red and yellow they are clearly forgiven for disturbing the poor birds. A nice and colourful shot with good foreground action by the pigeons and just a hint of ancient culture behind.

I really like this photo, even the small size :)
even with the 1/600 shutter speed, i'm still surprised how clear and sharp the wings are of the flying pigeons.
looks fantastic.
and the orange/red attire of the child is very striking too.

Even in this smaller size, the quality of this picture is obvious. The position of the boy, the colours, even the distribution of the pigeons...it's just top quality. I think this is my favourite among your Myanmar pictures so far!

I also like your note which stresses the universal humanity of the picture, rather than the exotic aspect of it.

Belle mise en scène avec cet habit rouge qui attire l'oeil, d'autant plus qu'il est bien situé. Et puis tu as attendu que les pigeons s'envolent pour donner un sens dynamique à la scène qui se reproduit souvent avec des enfants.

Hello Bernard - I am so glad you posted a larger version of this delightful shot (easier to see the detail). This is a lovely image, finely managed and really conveying the feelings of joy the child experiences as he chases the birds. Well timed too with plenty of action in the birds' wings. Lovely shot. On apprécie encore mieux l'image avec le WS....décidément tu es maudit avec ces pigeons -)
J'aime beaucoup la composition de cette scène que tu as capturée là, les habits colorés de l'enfant étant évidemment un plus ajouté à l'envol des pigeons porte-malheurs!

Intéressante image où les pigeons sont chez eux ici, mais chez moi cela pose un gros problème; il y en a trop et ils détériorent mon balcon.

Pour la photo au lieu de faire un WS tu avais la possibilité de faire un REPOST qui la remplace sans l'effacer.
