This picure is taken during sunset at the U-Bein bridge in Amarapura. The teakwood bridge spans 1.2 km across the shallow Taungthaman Lake some 10 km south of Mandalay. It was built by U Bein in the mid-19th century when the capital of Innwa (Ava) Kingdom moved to the nearby Amarapura.
Today, even though a few of the 1000 teakwood posts have been replaced by concretes, the bridge remains intact and serves as a main passage indispensable to the daily life of the local people.

Amazing capture of this famous bridge. What colors. The cyclist is in a perfect position, unfortunately not a lone a cyclist. Anyhow, well done.

A beautiful silhouette of this frequently photographed bridge and the cyclist is well caught between two posts. The sunset has been very well captured. Well done.

Superbe image ! Le point de vue choisi, le coucher de soleil et surtout la présence du cycliste, rien que des bons choix. Une très belle image.

what a wonderful a sunset! I like the black silhouette of the bridge and cyclist silhouetting sharp against a fiery sky. Beautiful colors, beautiful light and excellent composition.

A very classic shot from famous U Bein bridge, probably the photo op in Myanmar. No surprises, but still this is good quality work. Tfs.
