On the way between Mont Popa and Pagan, we stopped in a village where these women were preparing toddy candies : toddy juice is poured into big cauldrons and boiled on huge open fire and stirred until it becomes a sticky dough. Then it is cooled and moulded into the shapes desired. Sesame seeds, shredded coconuts or ground red plums can be added to offer a variety of flavours

Un belle image Vero.. Je me souviens de cette région avec encore beaucoup de plaisir.. Quelle gentillesse que l'on trouve au Myanmar.. Cela se voit dans le regard que tu as très bien capturé.

excellent shot! very well composed, great use of fill in flash (i think) the woman stands out nicely. good dof, and colors, i like the bubbling white goo.

Looks like she is doing her laundry. Nice capture of a very interesting subject.Well done.

A good shot, vero, and once again, you had the corresponding attention to the kindness you have towards these people in their surroundings.

PS: What? no chocolate? I will pass.... :-)

flash is a little harsh, but it's a decent daily routine capture. Good note too. TFS.
