Photographer’s Note
Across the river from Yangon is a little village called Dalah. During the monsoon season these green ponds, which are scattered abundantly around the area, fill with tiny fish. The local villagers tirelessly throw out their nets and drag them in to catch these fish for dinner.

Hi Dale,
Beautiful capture of a simple subject, perhaps toughest thing in photography. The dark cloud and the green pond create a nice contrast.
Thanks

Dale, you caught the moment and the action very well. I like the quality of the light, and the subject is well-placed in the bottom front corner. There's a good sense of balance to the photo. A memorable shot, well done.

Hi Dale,
I like the simplicity of this photo, the green getting more important than the blue. I like also the matters in, wood and trees, natural tones and soft ambient even the fisherman is at work. Contrast between the slow motion of the capture and the speed of life.
Great moment.
Well done.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Clemence
