I think it is good title so I post this photo. Shwedagon paya in Yangon is a haven for photographers. The archirtecture of all these stupas, and of course of the main one, is breath taking. And for those who like people's phiotos is a fantastic opportunity, as the people are kind and no problems with approaching them.
Here in front of a Buddha statue, there are here maybe hu ndreds of them. The adult are praying, the kids, like everywhere in the world, are playing.

It's great to see the local people, each doing their own thing. Ofcourse the very well rendered beautiful interior with its fine reflections and details helps to make this one a real visual treat!
Kind wishes from Rotterdam,

J'aime beaucoup que tout ne soit pas solennel et que les enfants puissent s'amuser dans un lieu sacré. De bien jolies couleurs.

good image, I like the scene you captured with the woman praying and the kid playing, it is an interesting contrast, well seen,

Sometimes we see young novices playing football, here you show us a child being more interested in his toys than in the prayers. This seems to be a much more relaxed attitude to religion than we are used to in Europe, where churches are such very serious places. This is a nice photo with a good atmosphere and fine details.

Very nice picture of yours. The light coming from outside give to this picture a quiet mood. The child playing add to the serenity of this picture.

mi piace il POV dal basso che mette in risalto il connubbio tra il bambino che gioca e la donna che prega.
Buona la qualità con la luce perfettamente gestita.

Doesn't matter what country, rich or poor, children will always be children.
you show that here.
I remember when i visited Thailand, many of the temples didn't allow photography, but some do. but it sounds like the people here are very friendly, so that helps.
a fine cultural scene, with innocence.
See you soon!

indeed, children live in their own world and don't often pay attention to photographers :) Very nice scene!
but I am a little surprised: was it allowed to take photos of those who pray in the temple?

Yes, a very fun and good title. I used to have problem when I first learn to speak English prouncing the L and the R. I could say the R very well so I was always "playing" and never praying. Lovely shot with strong colors, there is an essence of older photo quality to it, very nolstalgic. I love it.
