Shwedagon Pagoda VI
(The next post I promise we go out of the Pagoda) I just had such a wonderful two hours roaming around the pagoda being engulfed in the serenity and enjoying the photogenic opportunities.
This lady busy with her prayer beads,is wearing a traditional blanket from Kayin state, hand woven of course.
Kayin State occupies the eastern part of Taninthayi ranges, which are the continuation of the Shan highlands. (Thanks Yeah)

Dear Elaine,
here I do like not only the pattern of the blanket but also the patteren of the floor. If you could avoid the pillar infront of the woman, it would be great. It is a great shot which I've never seen. I do not know where the blanket is woven. But it is Kayin's pattern.

Myanmar is a fantastic country where took images!

Hi Elaine.
Une superbe photo avec une lumière incroyable qui nous donne de très belles teintes.
Le cadrage est très bon et ces différentes textures et formes donnent une belle compo.
Joli pov également.
