Photographer’s Note
Victoria Point, Myanmar, got its name from the colonial British, & is the southern most point of Myanmar. It is easily reached by boat from Ranong Harbour, in South Thailand. Taken from a Buddhist hilltop temple looking west.

Hi Chris,
Very nice POV and good contrasting elements. The boats in the distance reminds me of paintings about explorers in the past. I guess it is fitting here being a colonial out post. You have captured that mood here. Very well done! Regards.

Hi Chris,
Good overlooking Pov you've got here, I like these statues guiding my eye to this colorful arch (the yellow & blues are splendid !), the script looks different from Thailand.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hello Chris,
Merveilleux paysage, superbe lumière
J’aime ce cadrage tout en finesse et en diagonale.
La couleur de l’eau au loin est hallucinante !
C’est techniquement parfait
Beau travail

Hey Chris,
For some reason I think that the elements of the bottom of the shot give it a sort of "attraction park" feel. It does not look like the usual images from Asian temples to me. This makes the photo interesting and different. Well chosen point of view also.

Interesting view, very characteristic park in the foreground, and noondescript city in the distance. The boats look as though they might be interesting also.

Very interesting PoV and good use of perspective, I like these statues inviting to a visit. The bright blue/yellow colour combination of the arch as an entrance works very good here. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chris,
Nice, really nice capture of the beautiful temple and the environment. Very sharp and deep looking image. Colors seem so natural. The silhouttes of the far end hills are so similar to the ones here in my area.
Very good job and thanks for sharing...

you have portrayed a great scenery with rich composition and content. I find the foreground, with the statues very interesting, overlooking the wonderful view in the distant.

Hi Chris, a very beautiful bird eye view of the city. I like the composition you have done with this picture. You have a number of layers of scene here: the foreground garden, the middle ground city, and the background ocean, mountain, and the blue sky. Well composed, nice contrast.
