Photographer’s Note

Every morning on Ngapali Beach women cover the sand with blue nets and wait for men coming back with tons of little fish. Then the ballet begins. They start throwing the fishes on these blue nets so that they dry under the sun all day long.

Hi Vincent,
I like this sea of blue nets in the misty atmosphere creating I find a peaceful feeling. Nice that we can see the ladies at work and I like the huts visible in the background too. All round a nice image of daily life.

I`m nearly sure,I have a photo of this girl in my gallery and i know exactly your POV.The blue nets with fish for drying are very photogenic but these women are more attractive.....
A great shot,I like the morning mist and her working pose.I have to go back to this wonderful place,maybe next year.

Hi Vincent,

That blue is really amazing, it dominates the whole secenery till in the far background. It even brings a slight blue colour cast inside but i like that, because with the dark red shirt of the woman it looks great, just like the soft background....excellent shot.

Bonsoir Vincent,
Superbe vue de la vie quotidienne. La brume est presque aussi bleue que les filets, les mouvement des personnages sont artistiques comme dans un spectacle de danse.
Ce doit pourtant être bien fatigant d'étaler ces filets chaque jour.

I reckon this qualifies as one of the best blues I've seen so far this year. Simply marvelous, it almost seems to evaporate in the distance! As a result the misty background and atmosphere are absolutely terrific.

La quantité de poissons est impressionnante... Un scène de vie quotidienne bien prise, j'aime bien l'ambiance légèrement brumeuse sur l'arrière plan qui met bien en valeur ton sujet sur cet océan de bleu. Joli coup d'oeil, merci Vincent.

Bonjour, Vincent. Le bleu de ces filets est assez spécial et donne une unité de tons à une grande partie de ton image. Tu as bien saisi le geste de la dame qui prépare les filets et cela rend ta photo très vivante. Il y a aussi une belle succession de travailleuses, ce qui donne de la profondeur à l'image.

Ces filets bleus fluos au sol donnent une couleur très originale au décor. La femme et son maquillage blanc dans le visage sont parfaitement placés pour animer le sujet et le situer.

Tu as bien saisi l'action de la femme en train de poser ces beaux filets bleus qui habillent l'image et accrochent le regard!
J'aurais peut-être coupé un peu du haut afin d'éliminer le ciel blanc et donner ainsi encore plus d'impact à cette très jolie scène.

Si la femme en 1er plan ne tenait pas le filet, je croirais qu'il s'agitait de l'eau. C'est une photo très curieux et attirante pour les couleurs. J'aime la disposition en triangle des personnes et de l'effet du brouillard bleue qui détache la femme en 1er plan.
