Exploring area in Mrauk U, I saw this nice scene with rice. I observed it quite a long time. The women moved so gracefully that I had the impression they were dancing. Photo made just near the temple with ninety thousand Buddha images.

I love this kind of scene which I think brings me to the roots of agriculture. The women are well placed at a kind of circle with the buffalo just outside. The colours are very nice too. The wind must have been pretty good since the shells of the seeds seem to blow aside by themselves. Usually there is someone else standing by, making a "wind".

Beautiful scene with lovely light, seems to divide the rice from the husk by dropping to the ground from their wicker trays, you've captured the women while simultaneously doing the same movement, nice colors and good depth, warm regards,

This is a lovely daily life scene. These women have a hard job - was it very hot? The colours are beautifully natural. A great compoistion - very well done.

A superb daily life shot of the Burmese ladies threshing the rice (or should that be thrashing the rice?), with pleasant pastel colors & good sharpness. I like the motion blur of the falling grain in the wind. Tfs!
