Different Mrauk U, a photo from Rakhine, South

Photographer's Note

After seeing obligatory views in Mrauk U, I went to explore the area looking for less known places. I was always curious how look the stupas down in the valley. So I went there and found this nice lake. The golden temple on the hill on the right is just the place from where the most attractive photos are made. The two stupas on the right are the ones shown on the usual photos.
I hope you like this different view.

Quel beau moment de la journée. Le soleil dans ton dos très bas offre une luminosité exceptionnelle sur le lac et les temples.

So this is a ground level view of your previous photo taken from up high? You are very adventurous to have climbed down all that way. But the trek was worth it. The colours and luminosity are exquisite. I especially love the light shining on the stupas and the blue reflections in the water. A wonderful shot, congratulations.

Hola Malgo,

Great panoramic view with good saturated colors
Liked the looming stupas at the BG
From far I prefer a not touristic capture
Also I love ( when traveling) discover ( alone if possible) hidden angles

Well composed using the rule of thirds & with good color saturation. I like the warm cold color contrasts between the blue sky & yellow green grass. The stupas on the horizon add interest. Tfs!

Stupas land it is, Malgorzata.
The photo has an unusual colors texture - maybe the intense light conditions made this.
The view is fabulos, rural far away country.

Hello Malgo - I like this fresh look at Mrauk U, the saturated colours are fabulously rich and nicely balanced. The deep blues, greens and warm golden yellows play off each other beautifully. It is usual to see this area under soft misty light, here we see a completely different face and it a very pretty one1 Warm regards Rosemary

Dear Malgo
This is definitely an unique view. After I read your notes, I got a fair idea of the coordinates of the most famous locale of Mrauk U. Thanks for toiling that extra bit to get close to the lake. The warm cold colour contrast is unique & beautiful.
