Photographer’s Note
On the outskirts of Bago, there is a traditional Mon village. During my stroll along the main road, I was amazed to see this ice cream cart. I bought a couple of small containers and shared with the children. It all seemed, in the words of the poet, "incongruous, unbidden and absurd".
