[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
for to visit Bagan, there is two ways, horse's carts or bicycle, you can rent everywhere a heavy chinese bicycle, unfortunately paths are lined with bushes thorny and flat is common, fortunately one can find everywhere station for to mend your bicycle, as you can see, it was like formula 1 race , four persons for one wheel!!!!!!

Bycicle! we spent 5 days by bycicle running everywhere in the desert plateau of Bagan!
a great daily life reportage Didier, pure Burma...shave!
;)
thanks, ciao

Hi Didier
Excellent daily life picture with the people solving the problem with the bike. Very good POV and colours.
It remember me the 70's year...I had a bike
Thanks and have a nice week
Aires

Salut Didier,
Nice daily life scene. People have not much to do during the day if i look at the two in the background. But four on one wheel looks indeed very professional ;-)
Regards, Henk

Salut Didier!
Emilius

superb daily life shot in natural colours. i think it lacks a bit of sharpness.

Hahaha, quite a diferent one from Bagan, Didier. I recognize the same bikes I rented all the time in Laos. Fortunately I never had a flat, but I would definately choose this way for visiting the place. I love the depth of this scene, considering the 2 guys in BG, one of them enjoying the moment. The framing and timming are excellent and I particulary like the attentive pose of the guy on the right that seems to be learning how to do the work.
Cheers,
ricardo

Hello Didier,

I think that the roads a lot less are than here in our countries. But a bicycle is a good means of transport but when the bicycle tire burst than is natural setback.
I like the scene with the four people for one wheel.
Nice composition also the background give a good image.
Thanks for sharing.

Have a nice evening.
John.

Salut Didier
Amicalement
Hervé

Wonderful group shot! The grouping of the people is very good, and I like the way they interact with each other. I would even be tempted to zoom in on or crop tightly around the two guys on the right, which I think could be very good. Nice work!

Hi Didier
fine daily life scene, so often we see beautiful pictures of the temples of Myanmar or fishermen/farmers, but nothing as 'real' as this. excellent documentary!

Salut Didier,
indeed the repairing of bicycle wheels, as we see in the shot, is made everywhere. It seems that this public conveyance, is very necessary for these people.Their interest for the repairing is apparently seen in their faces.Informative your note too.

Regards,Danos

Hi Didier,
excellent catch of the concentration and punctiality of these bicycle-repairmen. I wonder how long it took,.
Regards, Gerrit

P.S. we toured Jamaica on bike., yes. (brought our own)

Dimitris.

Salut Didier

Hi Didier!
An often scene in S.E.Asia.
During my recent travel I had flat tires by transportation with bycicle, motorbike, car and bus,but fortunatelly not with a plane.
Your POV is excellent here and shows well the men at work.A very good exposure with amazing sharpness overall and many fine details.
