[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Burmese are perhaps the most gentle, soft spoken people I have come across in my travels. They deserve so much better; one can only hope they get it.

The photo is simply a flower vendor at Shwezigon Pagoda in Bagan. It seems I took this a very long time ago. I guess just an upload to show that I remember and care about the people there. I think anyone who has visited will have great memories, great fear and great hope right now.

Really nice shot . Very beautiful composition . good Gallery.good work

Hello Darren,
I fully share your respect for the lovely Burmese people. I visited Burma very long ago and have wanted to go back ever since, now I'm just waiting for a decent government. Apart from the symbolic value of your picture, it is also a very fine composition with beautiful colours. A really fine portrait.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Darren,
this lady looks very peaceful,I hope we will see Myanmar in Peace again.TFS,Nur

sad to see what's happening over there.

This is such a pleasent photo, she is as gentle and pleasing as this flower, composition is simple and works just fine.

Maybe my monitor but her hair and clothes seem to have a bit of blue cast.

Nice work Darren.

Very nice image, very touching. A very nice contribution to the current situation.

First of all lovely shot, Darren, showing both trademark craftsmanship coupled with a marked sensitivity.
Secondly, yes we are all heart sick at the carnage...
Nice upload,
Francis

Such a gentle face and meek person. Quite a nice contribution to the Myanmar series which has cropped up on TE.

Hi Darren,
this is a very delicate portrait. Thankyou very much for sharing it in this tragic moments. All my solidarity to the Burmese people.

thank you Darren for joining in the theme created in support to the Burmese people. This photo is so enlightening with this pink flower looming out of the shade and her gentle face asking for nothing more than peace and freedom... I am glad this photo came out

Cheers

regards
daniel
