Sympa ce beau portrait. J'aime bien la posture, la cadrage serré, la petite fumée lumineuse et les couleurs renforcées par ce fond de fleurs.
Tout cela est très bien composé.

I had a bit of a look at your gallery and you have some very interesting portrait and daily life images....good work.A lovely pose in this one with the curl of smoke well captured adding character and a calm mood to the image.Very well composed:
- Good position of the subject
- Well balanced colour with the scaff and flowers.
- The DOF just right.

Bonjour Sabine,
Nos chemins ne se sont pas encore croisé je pense, mais comme il faut un début à tout.
Votre galerie comporte des très jolies photo qui nous montre un peu la vie d’un autre pays qui a souvent moins de chance que nous.( dans le même style on retrouve Bertrand qui lui aussi nous ramène des excellentes images).Il est vrai que cela change des autres vues que l’on a l’habitude de voir sur TE, mais c’est bien que des gens comme vous nous fait découvrir un autre monde pas toujours joli à voir, (pour ma part j’en ai vu un petit bout en Afrique en 78).
Voilà ce que je voulais vous dire, ceci dit je ne donnerai pas de commentaire sur celle-ci en particulier car chaque de vos images ont quelques choses de particulier.
Bonne fin de journée et bonne continuation en espérant vous recroiser bientôt.

Belle photo Sabine, de belles touches de couleurs. Un moment de quiétude bien saisi avec la cerise sur le gateau avec cette caligraphie en 'fumée' ... Bravo.

Very beautiful scene and well composed Sabine. I love to see people smoking on photographs. Don't know why, but the act of smoking produces always great moody results. The smoke was very well captured by you. It's whiteness is amazing. Love the woman's reflective/calm expression, the scarf in her head and the pink flowers on the right. I just wished you had gone for a even more shallow dof to completely "erase" the cropped human figures on the background. Great photo!

This is a good candid shot and taken at an opportune moment. The colouring is good and the moment of capture is just right. I probably would have adjusted the curves and levels a little to bring out some foreground brightness, but overall a very good picture.

Wow! The colours in this shot just leap out of the frame and grab my attention. I also like the pose of the person, who is not looking toward the camera, but is looking away. Great work!

Encore un portrait qui m'épate dans cette série sur le Myanmar. Il me semble que tu t'es concentrée sur cette fumée comme sur l'élément paradoxal et original de la composition. C'était déjà le cas dans la photo précédente. Etonnant de voir ce visage doux, paisible, à deux doigts d'être rattrapé par la fumée.

L'assemblage des couleurs est superbe, orange sur la tete, fleurs roses tyrien, et cigare jaune-vert en vedette discrete... les petites volutes de fumee marquent encore plus le tres bon effet de relief qui vient avec cette belle photo. Bravo.

This is a very restful scene, Sabine, she seems to be enjoying her quiet moment and we do not interupt her. It seems ironic that her in the west we see less and less people smoking in the east it is just the opposite.
I love the bright flowers and of course the wisp of smoke so nicely captured.

It's been a while..... :O)

This shot contains so many nice elements. First of all of course the smoking woman. Well taken in profile which gives a great view of both the cigar, the smoke but also her hand....there is something with this hand that adds a lot to the image. Lovely orange scarf. I do agree with Luis regarding the background.

I was doubting with next shot but this one I prefer, a very natural street shot with an excellent catch of the smoke, a very clear well contrasted photo with good DOF to spot her out, the flowers and her scarf as an eyepuller.
