Photographer’s Note
After a big monsoon it's nice to wander through the green countryside of Bagan to get the chance to see not only the magnificent temples and pagodas but also the peasant's life.

Great shot, Luca. Your unusual, dizzy POV makes this a bit different, while the temple in the background and the detail in his (her?) hat and sickle add further interest to the photo. Well done. Regards,
Ryno

Luca: again, cleveryly cropped and framed. Though it doesn't match your ealier masterpieces, this picture still holds intrinsic qualities for a noonday shot. cool perspective. regards, c

Hello, Luca--
i see that you enjoyed playing with horizon tilt while you were in Myanmar--you did well with it again in this one, bringing us into the harvest process with the tilt. Theh background temple is nicely placed, as well, and offers something to anchor that end of the horizon, lest my eyes follow it out of the frame.
Thanks!

Very interesting POV which works so well with the position of the women. The way you took it we feel like pariticipating to her work. Then the diagonal of the vegetation she just did cut gets us right to the temple in the background. Great light in the vegatation in the middle as well. Great work.

Top notch framing, Luca.
I love the "spiny" pagoda stupas recalling her billhook. Something shared by both nature and architecture in Bagan area is probably the slenderness of shapes. Even the people look slimmer.
I assume you could locally raise a bit the brightness on her clothes and hat.
