When will you move to China?
A good shot taken south of Nyaung Shwe.
Oh I know this place verry well,I stayed two times at four sisters guesthouse and was there nearly every morning at sunrise.
Good shot with these pagodas and Buddha statue and the mountains in the distance, the diagonal of the water and the canoe at the perfect position.
This time on december 29th I arrived with a delay of two hours at Heho airport and when I arrived in Nyaung Shwe nearly every guesthouse and hotel was booked and I had to spend the night in a 80 dollar room........
I`m still angry about this waste of money.........
The next morning I took the train,2 dollar for upper class , a nice 4 hours ride to Kalaw.
You did well to change your mind and went to Malaysia instedd.
We both can be verry happy that we spent a lot of time in Burma before the change.
I spoke to many locals, I`m searching the www for news from Burma, and I think the only thing what changed is that the generals don`t wear uniforms now but do the same what they did the lastabout 50 years......

Very pleasant and peaceful-looking picture!
I miss a bit more of sharpness, but really enjoyed the management of difficult light, soft colors, chosen pov and composition!

Hello Ryno - This shot has the most wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The composition with the pagoda at the end of the diagonal formed by the water is very appealing and the Buddha looking out across the landscape adds a nice detail. The low light and semi-silhouette of the fisherman is perfect. Super shot. Warm regards rosemary
