Playing..., a photo from Shan, North

Photographer's Note

Checking my archives I found another photo taken in the famous Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, in Nyaung Shwe (Inle Lake). I don't have good photos of the monks looking through those famous oval windows, but I found many little monks playing around and some studying inside.

questa è una foto che ispira molta simpatia per la graziosa situazione che hai ripreso: l'incontro di un gatto con un piccolo monaco.
Ma il pregio non sta nella situazione in se, ma nella bella cornice nel quale l'evento si svolge e per i colori che arricchiscono la composizione. dove alla veste arancio del piccolo monaco si contrappone l'azzurro intenso delle imposte e il giallo della panca, il tutto in una situazione di gran nitidezza e di eccellente luminosità. da te sfruttata nella migliore maniera.

Hello Ana,
Quite simple, but I often find that the simple compositions are the most attractive. The red little monk is a strong eye-catcher, very well complemented by the cat watching his with some interest. The blue, pink and green tones of the buildings contribute to the fine atmosphere.

Ha! A funny shot, Ana, with this little monk in training in the classic boy pose of shooting a rifle. Contradictory to say the least! As for the photo itself, nice composition with the cat looking on, and the colors you've brought out are bright and lovely. A really touching and funny scene! Thanks.

Boys will be boys ..., this particular young monk seemingly playing to shot something.
He gives the scene a great dash of bright color in a rather grey and uninspiring surounding. Love the cat watching the boy.

that's a great composition with the boy as the actor and the cat in the audience))
The red attire stands out making the boy the center of this scene. Wonderul capture.

Wonder why a novice monk is playing the shooting game...quite an irony I think! The cat seems to be enjoying the view as much as we are. The novice's red robe simply pops out. Nice work!
