Nyaung Shwe is a township, the gateway to Inle Lake a few kilometers south connected through a river channel. There are many small canals in town which are so lively in the morning as the long boats will come in from villages around the lake, ferrying goods, farm produce, people etc. turning these canals into floating markets. Farm produce are usually traded here directly from these boats to ready buyers. As more and more of these boats arrive, the canals eventually choke up with interesting mixture of colors, sounds and smells. Real chaos but worth seeing!
Picture taken at less hectic section of a small canal. Veges are awaiting to be unloaded ashore from the long boats.

a great pic of yours, once again. Love these lines to divide the different scenes: each boat with its colors and its fruits and vegs...great colors, great light, congratulations!

I like the graphism of your splendid shot. I like the natural and vivid colours and what it represents: a day a day in this city. Thanks for sharing.

What a superb soft light on these fruit baskets !
I think I'd have cropped 1cm of the upper part of the image, as for my personal taste
Otherwise a very pleasant compo
Best to you Abmdsudi

Very nice floating market shot. Your horizontal format works perfect. Good light management using the sunlight to "paint" the tomatoes. Good photo job.
Thanks for your critique of my motorcycle shot from Kuala Kedah. Nasi Lemak, yes I know, however the tast of nasi lemak was better years ago. It seems that there are very few Malay cooks - not home cooking - which still know how to cock well.

Hi Abmdsudi. Marvelous colours and beautiful light that transforms the humble vegetables into jewels and jade. Great POV that accentuates the reason why the markets exist- to sell the produce. Regards. Klaudio.

A look back on this picture that restores so well the market's athmosphere of Inle area. The soft light is beautiful, on these huge baskets of tomatoes. I agree with yquem46 remark but it is a minor detail. Congratulations

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see th farm products in bamboo basket or long boat. It's so colorful. The crowded boats which are at anchor over to the canal is also interesting. It seems that it is looking at the prototype of the commercial transaction.
