Kalaw market Photo

Photographer’s Note

Kalaw stands high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau and it was a popular hill station in the British days.
At an altitude of 1320 m it is also pleasantly cool and a good place for hiking.

There is a rotating market, on a five-day cycle moving each day from town to town around the Kalaw/Inle region.
Local people, mostly tribal hike great distances from the surrounding villages to sell their produces.

Une lumiere matinale deja forte, mais pas de surex... un piquee de qualite, notamment sur le tas de grains jaunes au premier plan. Son stand est bien en vue grace a un bon cadrage et POV, les couleurs sont bien sur top!

Un superbe cliché riche en couleurs d'un des aspects de la vie journalière dans ce pays. Les couleurs sont bien saturées et chaudes.

trés beau portrait de cette vendeuse d'épices, la netteté est superbe, la lumiére est un peu forte mais donne des couleurs chaudes, juste un peu centré comme cadrage mais je pense que tu voulais toutes les épices au sol, donc.....

J'aime beaucoup la lumière dans cette photo qui met bien en valeur chaque détail de l'image. Les couleurs naturelles de ce portrait sont très agréables. Il ne nous manque plus que la bonne odeur de ces épices pour compléter le tableau... Une photo de qualité et intéressante, merci Marilyn.

Le soleil si forte pourrait ruiner complètement la photo, mais à la fois ça rendre la photo encore plus très réaliste. C'est un beau et très vif portrait de la vie quotidienne à ce marché. Le PdV est bien choisi.

And you managed to be on the right place for the rotating market...Olá Marilyn, superb daily life capture of this vendor distracted with something else. Good details to enjoy all around, but it's the corn that stands out so nicely in the center.
