Selling dried fish..., a photo from Shan, North

Photographer's Note

A girl that was selling dried fish with her mother in the market of Kalaw, a former British hill station in the Shan State. Some colonial buildings can still be found there and the market is really interesting and colourful, as there are several hill tribes who come here to sell products.

This shop has clearly a variety of dried fish. Interesting because of the various sizes and shapes and presumably the flavors.
The girl hopes for good business. Beautiful daily life-picture.

Nice portrait of the young girl with a mount of dried fish. I was amazed to see them and what they make of it? probably we are lucky that up to now there is no way to send smells. Interesting shot.

Lost of dried stuff attracting the eyes no doubt, a little insight of local scene. Some exquisite work with lovely tonal range and lighting with the pleasant grils lifts and makes this shot for me. Wonderful daily street scene, Congrats
