Photographer's Note

Taken on a hill-tribe trek around Kalaw, Burma. This little boy was just enjoying a cup of tea next to the hearth of his home as I took a picture. Located at 1320m on the rolling, pine-clad hills of the Shan Plateau, this is Myanmar’s trekking heartland. The mountains are dotted with Palaung, Pa-O, Intha and Shan villages. unfortunately I can't remember which ethnic group this particular boy belonged to.

A wonderful picture of this little fellow enjoying a drink, but oh!so close to the hot pans boiling on the fire.I do fear for him, but wish him Good Luck.
