Following, the ten primary duties for monks to fulfill:
1. Alms gathering
2. Temple cleaning
4. Chanting and meditation
6. Caring for their preceptor
7. Management, maintenance and exercises
8. Dhamma and monastic studies
9. Caring for temple property and responsibility
10. Behaviour worthy of respect
Any monk who can fulfill these duties may not yet be free from worldly desires, but will surely lessen the influence of its temptations.

I appreciate the warm light due to elevation of the sun.
This gives a little 'old-fashioned' style to the photograph and make it lovely.
Have a nice weekend,

another great picture! Beautiful every day scene and caught in masterly way. It is not only the cute little monk doing some of his usual chores but also beautiful scenery and warm light adding so much charm to the wholeness.

a very beautiful picture of a daily life scene in a setting that's not accesible to anybody. I like very much the way you've isolated and framed it focusing on the lovely architectural details, the fine play of shadows, the delicious light and colours, the work and attitude of the little monk as well. I also like the subtle tonal variations caused by the lighting. The mundane daily chore looks like an act of meditation. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

Hi Andre. if it's only one critique that i write today(it's the 27th here already), it's got to be for this insightful and touching photo. In addition to the seriousness with which the little novice is sweeping the entrance, it's touching to see that the broom is bigger than he is. The morning sun illuminates the scene with its gentle light and enhances the colours and details.A sensitive result which is given further strength by the accompanying note. Best wishes. Klaudio.

An eye catching novice monk within the frame getting about his daily life revealing another perspective at a new beginning every day. Nice display of colors, sublime light, interplay of shadows with all the props thrown. Wonderful insight of local way of life subtly captured. Congrats, tfs.

A wonderful capture of sunlight and shadows, and well exposed to get sharply the sweeping motion of the young monk at work in the dappled light. No doubt you cropped this, and the red and blue columns frame the scene very nicely. That looks like very elegant and intricate wrought iron work above. Very nicely done.

le programme du moine ne m'allèche pas....contrairement à ta photo remarquablement mise en scène et réalisée.
