Photographer's Note

A few months ago, I've posted a photo of this same place. As I like this place a lot, here's another one! This photo was taken in Inle Lake. When we got to this place, several pirogues came with women wanting to sell handicrafts. In a few seconds,a kind of a little floating market was formed there.
Here it's possible to see only one, but there were many around and locals really insist on selling their goods, from the moment we arrive till the moment we leave - they depend a lot on that!

Hi Ana,
Beautiful composition, the image captured by a very impressive building. It is seen reflected in water. Also very interesting sky. Nicely it animates the boat with traditional costumes in the lower right corner.

When I look at this I think about the elfic land in the lord of the rings... definitely a special place shining with highlights, the little boat at the botton right is great to animate this superb view

Hello Ana,

Impressive shot of an impressive place. The right corner is very, very unfortunate, however. Also your note makes it honestly clear that this place is not paradise, the gap between the haves and the have-nots is just too confronational. But thanks for sharing this interesting shot!

Hello Ana,
I found Burma long ago one of the most beautiful countries in the world, mainly because of the nice people. These pagodas are also fantastic and it's a generally very appealing picture with very good light and sharpness. It is just a little bit unfortunate that we can't see the whole boat, because it has been cut off by something in the corner. However there was very little you could do about that.

Excellent POV, vibrant color hues and contrast with high sharpness. What a perfect shot. Reflection are superb. Well done. Thanks for your critique of my fishery port from Yan. I try to go to places not well known to not even locals. Most of the time there is no real road map, just my instinct tell me that I should risk and go there to have a look.

This is a magical Burmese landscape Ana. So far from your native Portugal, but with many of the qualities of your home images. The white and blue f the top half goes so well with the warm tones of the bottom and the life and the architeture are shown off so well here. Regards Kevin

interesante nota sobre este mercado flotante que se forma al llegar los turistas. En la foto has captado sólo una piragua, pero me imagino el lugar lleno de ellas.
La arquitectura que llena gran parte de tu encuadre es magnífica, muy estética y elegante, y se destaca sobre un cielo azul bellamente decorado con las nubes blancas.
Gran luz y colores fantásticos, es una composición muy bonita y bien realizada.
