A wooden monastery build on stilts over the Inle Lake also known as the "Jumping Cat Monastery", because the monks there have trained a few cats to leap through small hoops.

Unusual way to cath inmortality or more spirituality I think. But, good shot. Strange man expresion...

excellent composition, very well captured! the black bg works very well and i love how the contrasty and bright cat stands out illuminated by the flash. wonder if the plates contain food for the cats?

in the spirit of TE, can't find any better. You managed very well with the flash, all attention on the cat, while the whole scne comes out very explicitely.

This is so surprising and refeshing scene. There are so much pics of monks doing traditional tings on this site that I almost don't open the thumbnails anymore, but here we have a scene taht is quite oirignal and so well done. As the others said the use of the flash is perfect and the frame is full of the essential things to be seen, the monk, the cat and these plates
