Amarapura is a small village near Mandalay. It's known for its monastery where each morning about 1000 monks queue to eat breakfast together.

Hi Magda, an excellent photo. You've caught the expression of the monk perfectly and kept good colours, light and sharpness in the background, while also telling an interesting story.

A wonderful portrait of this novice surrounded by older (bigger)monks.I like a lot his expression and the deep red of the robes.The hands in the background make the composition perfect.
