Golden light in a golden country, a photo from Mandalay, North

Photographer's Note

We left Mandalay by boat before sunrise to go to Bagan. This picture is taken right after sunrise when the light was almost golden and the Sagaing hills were lit very beautifully. The small clouds in the sky are also great.

Excellent composition and picture quality. It is sooo sharp and the clouds just great. I can see people in the lower part of the photo which actually gives the viewer a sense of dimension of the size of the place. Well done ...tfs.

i like how you give so much space to the huge sky, regien a fine composition. the people in the forground not only provide a human element but give it scale.

I remember well this hill full of pagodas.
The light is superb and the clouds add dynamism to this picture.

You were lucky to have such a nice sky.Good shot from Saiging with the golden stupa on top of the hill.Good light and great colorcontrast.
