what a lovely group of children. Their robes have such nice bright colors and create great contrast with the grey and scruffy walls. Well caught scene and masterly delivered.

una foto, quella di oggi, che nella sua semplicità, priva di particolari effetti, colpisce per lo sguardo di questi futuri monaci con le loro teste rasate che inseguono chissà quali sogni lontani.
Una foto sulla quale soffermarsi per capire la sua intima poesia.

Bonsoir Patrick,
Ils ont l'air bien sages, pour des élèves en récréation. Avec leur boule à zéro, ces enfants ont une belle morphologie du visage, mais il est bien difficile de distinguer les garçons des filles. Heureusement, la couleur de leurs vêtements aide à faire la différence, et ceci dit, je trouve que le rose des robes s'harmonise très agréablement avec les tons vert pastel des boiseries. Belle photo de groupe. Tu as été en quelque sorte leur photographe de classe !

Firstly I have to congratulate you on your library of beautiful images clearly this area of photography you excel in.
I adore this image of the little ones all in their clean clothes.
When I look at this photo it reminds me of my time I spent in Taxco Mexico - I was walking through the streets & had many of the little children begging for money... the following day was Monday & I was in my hotel room when I heard children singing - I went out onto my balcony & looked across to what I knew was the school & there they were '' All my little Angels '' & all dressed in their clean clothes - The funny thing is when I ventured out into the streets '' there was not a child in sight '' I thought I would share this story with you.

well, i certainly learned something here today - didn't know about the color variation for boy/girls.
it seems like you have the attention of at least 3 of the children :)

This is exotic, the spirit of Burma! Very much enjoyed the way you moved down and close to their level to capture these gorgeous children, a great encounter in this beautiful part of of the country. A timely shot showing the range of emotion in the faces of these adorable innocent enjoying each other's company - the smiles look natural and unforced. The intensity and yet calm appraising look draw the eyes in and their attires provide such glorious colors. Truly a very charming and engaging image, a tender moment you have caught it so beautifully. An undoubtedly intriguing cheery scene and u certainly know best how make those children happy. Delicious capture :))

what amazing colour tones, from the pinks and reds to the pale blues and greys, they all work so well together. i love the way you have positioned the boy with the dark red robe to the left as this helps create a superb focal point.

Bonjour Patrick,
I have missed many of your nice images in my absence.
In this one I enjoy the different expressions of the novices. Some shyly looking at you, one posing, another with a direct look and the others looking away but all still curious children at heart. A crisp clear image to capture all the facial details of each child in this sweet multiple portrait of life in Myanmar.
