La Pagode Kuthodaw littéralement Mérite royal, et officiellement Mahalawka Marazein est un ensemble de stûpas bouddhistes situé à Mandalay
Elle abrite le plus grand livre du monde (par la taille), le canon bouddhique en pâli ou Tipitaka. Il est gravé sur 729 stèles de marbre protégées chacune dans une kyauksa gu, ou grotte à inscription, sous un petit stûpa chaulé blanc

Kuthodaw Pagoda is a Buddhist stupa, located in Mandalay, that contains the world's largest book.
In the grounds of the pagoda are 729 kyauksa gu or stone-inscription caves, each containing a marble slab inscribed on both sides with a page of text from the Tipitaka, the entire Pali Canon of Theravada Buddhism.

Super les silhouettes des colonnes et du cycliste sur fond de pagodes blanches. Magnifique reflets sur le dallage et bravo pour la gestion de l'exposition, un blanc avec tous les détails.

J'aime beaucoup ton point de vue, le gerement de la lumière pas faciale ici mais donne un bon résultat...j'aime le reflet aussi, très belle photo!

Interesting - yesterday we got an alternate view of this place by Abmdsudi, and now this excellent shot from you, Patrick. You've framed the shot beautifully, from under the awning with the silhouetted man on his bicycle staring out at the wonder. The light coming off the stupas is beautifully bright, and the reflections on the tiles below is just an exquisite detail. Thanks for sharing this.

Wonderful framing of the stupa; you have managed both the dark inner area and the light outer area perfectly. I like the silhouette of the person and their bicycle, and the reflections on the ground are beautiful, too. Very nice!

you´ve found really fantastic point of view to present us these beautiful Pagoda´s.Especially this transition between shaded foreground and so nicely illuminated background with Pagoda´s is very captivating.Furthermore I like these fabulous reflections in the ground tiles.Superb composition!

Hello Patrick, i like your photo here very much. The fact that you were in the shadow when you took it gives the composition some kind of mystery. Good color saturation. Lovely scene with the man and his bike. A good note also.

very interesting environments! Burma have a very high placement on my "Must visit" list :)I like this shot with the silhouette of a person on a bicycle. It makes me wonder, is it a person who just arrived from a market and/or coming here to enjoy the beauty of this place?
I like the peaceful atmosphere and the reflections on the ground, Tfs!

J'aime bien le graphisme de cette photo avec le bel effet de silhouette du cycliste qui se détache sur un arrière plan d'une grande clarté.
Ca donne un bel effet et un bon contraste à cette scene.

Bonjour Patrick,
une prise avec une exposition compliquée que tu as résolue avec efficacité.
Il y a un joli contraste entre les stupas de marbre et l'avant-plan plus obscur, où le cycliste ajoute un peu de vitalité à ta composition.

Hello Patrick - Your POV is super here, I think it highlights the cool shadiness of the covered walkway and contrasts it well with the sun-baked courtyard. The silhouetted cyclist with his distinctive hat and the load he transports by bike adds a good FP and a little narrative to the shot. And, of course, the reflections are super. I like this very much. The exposure must have been tricky but you got it correct and I like the resulting silhouetted man and his bicycle. The shiny floor is fascinating and an important aspect of this fine composition.

La silhouette de la femme et son vélo plus la réflection sur le sol font la photo, avec bien sûr ce splendide batiment blanc bien éclairé.
L'encadrement par les piliers et le plafond donne un air "chez soi"

what a beauty this photo is!
my favorite part is the reflection of white on the ground tiles...very sweet.
I'm not a fan of the centre placement of the person on the bike, but i understand why because of the symmetry of the tall vertical columns.
smart way to get the photo in bright light with the silhouette.

A really different photo of this wonderful place! You framed the white stupas very well, placing the reflection on the tiles and the silhoutte of the person passing with the bike in foreground.
I wasn't so lucky! When I was there, it was raining!

The exposure has been clearly difficult & you have handled masterfully! The reflection of the stupas on the polisehed floor is wonderful. But the best part has to be the man with his cycle. In the dark, we can make out some paintings....fine work!
