Namaste Patrick
Lovely in the mellow colours...makes it look like a dream. Your timing is also excellent as we see light on the portion the carriage is passing...like a spot light effect. Fine work!

Hello Patrick,
very nice photo with low light which makes all the colors dusky and softens the whole image. Great panorama view with some dreamy atmosphere.
Well done!

Salut Patrick,
Très bel effet avec ces brumes et cette bonne capture de la difficile luminosité, les silhouettes donnent un résultat intéressant comme ce détail de la calèche, bon moment de prise.

Hi Patrick!
A good Bagan shot, taken from a great POV.
I like the composition with the horsecart in the foreground.
But it looks a bit pale on my screen,so I tried a WS, and your photo has only 213 KB.....

Hi Patrick, probably every one going to Bagan, and Myanmar, climb the Temple, I forgot the name in the moment, to see the sunset from there. And when the horse cart is visible, the better. Magical moment caught.wonderful mysterious atmosphere with delicate mistrzostwa.

On retrouve ta façon personnelle de jouer avec la lumière pour donner de l'originalité à tes paysages. La petite calèche, grosse cerise sur le gâteau, attire irrésistiblement le regard.

Decisions, decisions - while I like the extra contrast given by Leo, I do think this image appears a bit flat, I do like the way the light hits the horse and cart here. Which is lost in the WS. I also am wrestling with this question. Do I leave images from my last trip to bangladesh as they were, (we were plagued by morning fog, by the time the fog lifted it was near to midday and no light for photos) or do I add contrast and make it more appealing for others to view but i know it wasnt like that.
I think you made a brave and wise choice Patrick. I will take your example :)

Hi Patrick,
A misty day in Myanmar, it's in a totally different mood. But the nature offered another kind of beauty.
PS: I took your advice to crop the picture and posted in workshop.

Fantastic place, the mists render it even more beautiful. I like the juxtaposition of the tops of the palaces and the distant mountains, in a very harmonious composition. Congratulations!

Beautiful shot, Patrick, with good misty light. The horsecart is perfectly framed by a spot of sunlight, making it glow slightly, and your perfect POV gives the whole shot wonderful depth from the cart back to the mountains in BG. Thanks!

Salut cher Patrick
Ahh what a view, a great POV and such superb control of these very difficult light conditions. I love that everything is golden and the depth of field just seems to go on forever. It reminds me of a dream scene. How lucky you were to witness it and thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us.

Hello Patrick - I wish I could see this at a higher resolution and larger size as there is so much fine detail which is tricky to see here. The light is very attractive across the trees and grasses and I think the way you have managed to capture the horse-cart in the patch of sunshine is just perfect. This looks so peaceful, I'd love to take a ride. Warm regards Rosemary

Bonjour, cher ami Patrick,
on peut voir la voiture à cheval dans le chemin en bas du cadrage, ainsi que les belles pagodes qui décorent ce paysage mi-couvert par le brouillard.
L'effet visuel est grandiose, c'est une belle photo.
Bien amicalement,
Josep

Hi Patrick,
This magical photo is almost monochrome, like an old sepia photo. The low light highlights the dust raised by the cart, and makes the temples stand out against the light background. Excellent control of the light, and wonderful composition.

Hello Patrick,
This is a subtle and beautiful picture. The softness of the scene is perfectly counterbalanced by the small and very well lit horse and cart.
Beautiful!

Hi Patrick
The kind of atmosphere that we have been waiting for, its simply magical with the brighty lit horsecart steals the show standing out stunningly within the limited color pallette. The view taking the eyes right through this mystical landscape and beyond shrouded by softness of warm glow, mist and glimpse of the tupas and the distant hills, but the tonalities are just amazing. Thank for the effort climbing this high and presenting us really special. Another quality shot as always. Congrats
Kind regards

Bonjour Patrick
Quelle merveille d'exotisme que vous avez osé capter à contre-jour dans le brouillard pour un plus grand effet de sérénité zesté de la petite calèche, informant de la magnitude du lieu.
Une pièce de musée d'art!
Amicalement.

Hi Patrick,
truly extraordinary light. I like the slight fog here which contributes to an interesting atmosphere.
The horse cart makes a fantastic point to focus on, you caught it so sharp. It really stands out of the picture.
Excellent work,

Hello Patrick
Lovely soft tones, created by the mist of late afternoon. Apart, obviously from the pagodas, the little cart in the foreground is a very useful secondary focal point, and gives a reason for the expanse of trees and grass. The tones are very warm and create warmth in the viewer (very welcome in England in February!) I think this is a crop from a larger frame: can't tell what you've removed, but the result is a nicely balanced composition.
Regards
Will
