Photographer's Note
Evening light on the temples in Bagan.
This area of Myanmar can't fail to make a photographer smile and a young man feel slightly like Indiana Jones.

Somewhere over the rainbow- way
up high
in the land
that I heard of once
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow- skies
are blue
and the dreams
that you dare to dream
really do come true
Someday I'll wish upon a star
and wake up
where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
away above the chimney tops
that's where you'll find me
do you know that, Eva Cassidy's, song..?? I know there is any rainbow here but.. as an metaphor I think it works!
Your pic and that song both match enormously.. are simply stunning!!!

Wow. This is wonderful. I really like how you've captured the layers of temples. This photo really makes me think of how many places I have yet to visit in this amazingly diverse world Really well done photo.

Hi Pryderi.
This place is wonderful and I think you have right when you say that this sight make us smile. The fog and the DOF makes a nice effect where the closest temple is the sharpest and the one having strongest colours, and the big one in the background as the most mysterious among all the trees. Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Fredrik

Hi Pryderi,
very atmospheric shot. The fog creates a very pleasant effect here. Very exotic, interesting landscape.
Really attractive work,

I've seen (in photos) this compound of temples many other times but they never fail to fascinate me. I like your interpretation showing two major temples at the left and leaving the smaller ones to the right, it creates a kind of movement. the evening light gave you intriguing warm colours which make the red temples stand out wonderfully from the green vegetation around. Good choice of the format.
Well done,
Donato
