| The monastery, built of wood from 1882 - 1892, was modelled after the Crown Prince's house in Mandalay. It is now operated as the U PON NYA Museum. The curator - Bo Bo Win - is seated next to one of the many fine wood carvings, titled "Prince on the Lotus Throne". |
