[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In the name of protection of the artifacts, no dwelling is permitted inside the Bagan Archeological Park boundary. Most villages within the park boundary has been forcibly moved by the government quite some time ago. Only a handful of houses now lies within the bounderies. The owners of these homes are the permitted to stay so that they can be the guardian of the few precious treasures that are left in the temples: the mural paintings. These temples are off-limits too all except for those that are lucky enough to accompanied the Bagan Archeological Society team on their daily work.

Hi Thien,
Great B&W picture of the guardian and the guarded treasure. Very nicely composed picture. Superb shot.

Thien, this is as good as the contrasts. it gives the photo a rich classic texture, someting timeless to feel about. TFS, Arnab

nice one in B/W. you have really well captured the expression on the lady's face.

Hi Thien,

I like the texture in this shot,
The guys features increases the feeling of mystery and obscurity in the theme.
I have a bit of a problem with the composition, it seems you could have used the wide angle better to emphasize the emptiness.

Anyway, Nice pic :)
